THE EYE

(2018)

The Eye tells the story of a disappearance in Ireland, a detective from New York, and a supernatural curse with an upside. The game was a collaboration between myself and 4 other creators, including project manager/writer/character-&-background artist Emma Raine, writer/designer/UI artist Ian Ouellette, writer/designer McKay Hartwell and programmer Oscar Ngan. 

On this project, I was responsible for...

  • Writing 4 scenes of the game and select character concept documents, as well as supplemental writing for other scenes game-wide

  • Editing the writing across the entire game, alongside other writers

  • Producing task lists and schedules to aid in the production management process

  • Researching Celtic mythology and modern Ireland to help foster a realistic sense of setting

  • Collaborating with a visual artist to determine what art assets were needed

  • Learning to write dialogue and create code for the Fungus Unity plugin
